ClacksArt
Please let me introduce myself. I am Voodoodolly aka Bobbi Vetter, artist in residence for clackmannanshire.
Over the next few weeks I will be adding images and articles in these pages, relating to the creative side of Clackmannanshire. I would like to take you on a visual tour, showing off the rich and diverse wealth of art in our environment. I would also like to showcase the work of the creatives out there, be you painter, poet, photographer or film maker. It doesn`t matter if you are professional, a keen amateur or just like to dabble. We would like to see your work if you are willing to share it.
I am a novice at this site stuff so bear with me.
Hopefully soon we, with your input will have a great guide to the art and artists hidden in Clackmannanshire.
if you would like to contact me email clacks.art@lookabootye.co.uk,you can also send your images to this address. We can not promise to show them all as space is limited but we will do our best.

New Public Art ,Alloa
Andy Scott`s latest addition to Clackmannanshire has arrived and is on site at the side of Asda and the new train station. You can see it from the bus on the newly re-instated King street(ring road)! It is a lovely depiction of man and boy.I think looking at this piece will bring back a time(in those old enough to remember!!!!)when the industries were the reason these towns existed.

Creative Writing
Over the past few months I have been working closely with Tom Murray and Stuart Hepburn,co writers in residence for Clackmannanshire. What an asset they have turned out to be.Would-be writers are flocking out of the closet with all kinds of ideas ,looking for advice or help to take the next step.

Public Art in Clackmannanshire
River SpiritThose of you with sharp eyes may have noticed a few changes around the county recently. Namely the pieces of Public Art which have appeared in various locations. I think the most commented on piece is "River Spirit",a beautiful sculpture of a woman holding the River Forth aloft.
